Photo contest Fleurop-Interflora Belgium “Féerie Florale” on social media

Article 1: Contest description
The cooperative company Fleurop-Interflora Belgium CV, with its registered office at Hoge Wei 1, 1930 Zaventem, company number 0402.712.029, is organising a contest for all visitors of the event “Féerie Florale” (from 26 September 2025 to 29 September 2025) via the social media platform Instagram.
The contest consists of sharing at least one photo of yourself, taken at one of the three designated photo zones, on your Instagram feed and/or Instagram stories with the tag @fleurop.be. Fleurop-Interflora Belgium will ensure the proper conduct of the contest, the correct application of these rules, the designation of the winner, and the allocation of the prize. The organiser’s decisions are final and binding.
Article 2: Schedule
The contest runs from Friday 26 September 2025 at 10:00 a.m. until Monday 29 September 2025 at 6:00 p.m. One winner will be designated. Fleurop-Interflora Belgium reserves the right to modify, postpone, extend, shorten, or cancel the contest, in whole or in part, without being obliged to provide justification or assume any liability.
Article 3: Participation
Participation in the contest is possible only via Instagram. Entries sent by post, e-mail, or other means will not be accepted. A valid entry requires a public Instagram profile so that the submission is visible to the organiser.
Fleurop-Interflora Belgium cannot be held responsible for technical interruptions or delays in internet traffic that may result in the loss or damage of submitted data or delayed participation. Any attempt at fraud will result in the immediate exclusion of the participant. Printing, typographical, or similar errors cannot be invoked as grounds for compensation or any obligation on the part of the organiser. Unforeseen disputes will be handled by the organiser, whose decision is binding. Persons involved in organising the event are not allowed to participate.
Only natural persons residing in Belgium are eligible. Each person may participate as many times as they wish but can only win one prize. Participation is free of charge.
The contest assignment consists of:
- Sharing at least one photo of yourself, taken in one of the three photo zones during the “Féerie Florale” event, on Instagram (feed and/or stories) with the tag @fleurop.be.
- Participants may not use in their posts any texts, photos, videos, or other materials that infringe or could infringe upon intellectual property rights in the context of this contest.
Article 4: Personal data
By participating in the contest, the participant provides personal data to the organiser, Fleurop-Interflora Belgium. By submitting this data, the participant gives explicit consent for Fleurop-Interflora Belgium to process the data for, among other purposes: keeping participants informed about the calendar and activities of Fleurop-Interflora Belgium, and in particular about the progress of the contest and identification of the winner, offering services, or managing files. Fleurop-Interflora Belgium may also use the provided personal data for direct marketing purposes.
Fleurop-Interflora Belgium always acts in full compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data will not be passed on to third parties.
The personal data concerned include the participant’s name, first name, and address details, as well as any other data processed later.
The participant may, at any time, free of charge and upon simple request, object to the use of their personal data for the above-mentioned purposes and/or withdraw their consent by email (info@fleurop.be) or by post to the above address. Our DPO (Mr. Franklin BV – www.misterfranklin.be) can also be contacted via the same contact details (please specify “for the attention of the DPO”).
Each participant also has the right of access, the right to rectification, and the right to erasure of their data. These rights can be exercised by simple written request (via e-mail or letter, as stated above).
Participants who request partial or full deletion of their data during the contest accept that their participation will automatically end, since they cannot be included in the participant list without registration.
Article 5: Selection of the winner
At the end of the four-day contest period, the organiser, represented by employees of Fleurop-Interflora Belgium, will conduct a random draw among the valid participants. One winner will be designated from this draw.
Article 6: Prize
The prize consists of a flower subscription. The winner will receive, for a period of six consecutive months starting from the first month after the winner’s announcement, one bouquet of flowers per month worth 45 euros. Delivery will take place at the address provided by the winner within Belgium.
There can only be one winner for this contest. The person designated as the winner is the owner of the Instagram profile used to enter the contest. Fleurop-Interflora Belgium cannot be held liable for any defects in the prize.
There is a maximum of one prize for this contest. This prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, not payable in cash, not extendable, not modifiable, and may not be transferred or sold to third parties. The prize will not be replaced in case of loss or after its expiry date.
Article 7: Awarding of the prize
The organiser will notify the winner by private message on Instagram at the end of the contest. The winner must provide their postal address via e-mail to Fleurop-Interflora Belgium. If the winner does not respond within 14 days of this notification, their right to the prize will irrevocably expire. The prize will then become available again to the organiser.
The organiser, third parties involved, their agents, representatives, or employees cannot be held liable for any failures of the postal or courier services (delays, damage, strikes, loss) in delivering the prize to the winner. The organiser is also not responsible if the winner provides incorrect or incomplete contact information.
Article 8: Acceptance of the rules
Each participant is deemed to be aware of the conditions of participation and to accept all articles of these rules unconditionally.
The organiser may modify the contest rules by announcing such changes on the website www.fleurop.be, if special circumstances or the proper conduct of the contest so require.
If the participant is a minor, Fleurop-Interflora Belgium assumes, until proven otherwise, that all permissions and approvals required in connection with this contest have been given by the legal guardians. The winner grants free permission for their name to be used, including being made public through all means and media, for advertising purposes related to this contest. Such use is limited to one year after the end of the contest. In some cases, the organisers may take photos during the prize handover. In such cases, the foregoing also applies to these photos.

Article 9: Liability
Fleurop-Interflora Belgium, or any other natural or legal person involved, cannot be held liable if, in the event of force majeure, certain conditions of the contest must be modified, or if the prize cannot be executed, in whole or in part.
Fleurop-Interflora Belgium reserves the right to change the contest, its progress, or the prize if unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond its control so require. Fleurop-Interflora Belgium cannot be held liable if, due to circumstances beyond its control, the contest or the prize must be interrupted, postponed, or cancelled.
Fleurop-Interflora Belgium cannot be held liable for any damages of any kind that may result from participation in the contest or the awarding of the prize. In particular, Fleurop-Interflora Belgium excludes liability for technical interruptions and internet delays leading to the loss or damage of transmitted data or late participation, as well as for printing, typographical, or other such errors.
Article 10: Disputes
In the event of force majeure, unforeseen circumstances, or disputes, Fleurop-Interflora Belgium may take any necessary decision to ensure the proper functioning of the contest. The decisions of Fleurop-Interflora Belgium are sovereign and without appeal.
The possible invalidity of one provision of these rules shall not affect the validity of the other provisions.
The article titles of these rules are provided solely for ease of reading. In case of interpretation difficulties, the titles shall not determine the content of the clauses.
This contest is subject to Belgian law. In case of disputes, only the courts of the Brussels district shall have jurisdiction.
